On the Tavria front, the Russians have decreased the activity of aviation, artillery, and the overall number of clashes, reported the commander of the Tavria direction, Oleksandr Tarnavsky.

“The enemy has reduced the activity of aviation, artillery, and the overall number of clashes. Continues attempts to advance with infantry – lost nearly 500 personnel,” he writes.

In the south, over the course of a day, the occupiers conducted four air strikes, engaged in 34 clashes, and carried out 648 artillery shelling, noted the commander.

Ukrainian defenders stand resilient in the Avdiivka direction, noted Tarnavsky.

According to his information, Defense Forces have eliminated 495 invaders, destroyed eight military vehicles, including four combat armored vehicles and two drones; an additional 13 units of occupant’s equipment were damaged.

The offensive operation continues in the direction of Melitopol, summarized the commander.

On December 2, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past day, Russian occupation forces actively advanced in the areas of Bakhmut and Avdiivka, assaulting positions of the Defense Forces in the south.
