Former members of the Wagner Private Military Company (PMC) have decided to fight for Ukraine as part of the Russian Volunteer Corps

The founder of the Russian Volunteer Corps, Denis Nikitin, officially confirmed that the ranks of the RVC have been joined by new recruits, including former fighters from the Wagner Group who want to combat against the Russian Federation.

Denis Nikitin officially confirmed that the new volunteers of the RVC have already arrived in Ukraine.

According to him, this is another confirmation that the struggle of Russian volunteers has found resonance in the minds and hearts of many Russian citizens.

“The ranks of the Russian Volunteer Corps continue to be replenished with the most determined and courageous sons of their homeland. But this time, not only young and inexperienced recruits have joined us, but also military professionals. Some veterans of the Wagner Private Military Company (PMC) responded to my call and also came to Ukraine to fight against the true enemy of the Ukrainian and Russian people—the Putinist terror machine,” stated Denis Nikitin.

“According to the leader of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), he and all Russian volunteers are facing an era of fierce struggle for a bright future without dictatorship and war.

“Therefore, we are preparing, growing, and strengthening every day!” – summarized Nikitin.

The RVC explained the current situation with the Wagner PMC

The Chief of Staff of the Russian Volunteer Corps, Alexander “Fortuna,” in an interview for online.ua, revealed what happened to the Wagner PMC after the presumed liquidation of Yevgeny Prigozhin.

According to the volunteer, he is aware that representatives of the Wagner PMC who wish to continue fighting can do so through the “Rosgvardiya” (Russian National Guard).

Some agreed, some refused. In other words, they were simply categorized. There is a category of people who refused, a category of people who have doubts, and a category of people who agreed. This last category was simply divided into two parts: some went to the Ministry of Defense under a direct contract, while the rest were structurally redirected to the “Rosgvardiya.”
