At the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a powerful wave of Russian disinformation has been documented since the beginning of November

The Main Intelligence Directorate warns about a significant surge in Kremlin disinformation since the start of last month.

What is known about the wave of Russian information-psychological operations (IPSO):
According to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, the enemy is actively conducting information-psychological operations and special operations.

He stated that the enemy had been preparing a series of such information special operations for many years.

The goal of these hostile information special operations, as emphasized by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, is and remains the intention to demoralize Ukrainian society, divide it, and deprive it of motivation to resist.

This has been ongoing since 2014 after the occupation of Crimea and parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

“We have been recording a literal surge in various types of activities since the beginning of November that are interconnected. In other words, these are not just informational campaigns. They are directly linked to direct actions, various terrorist acts, and enemy special operations that converge into a common canvas. Literally every day, we observe manifestations of these things,” emphasized Yusov.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine issued a warning to Ukrainians ahead of the holidays

According to representatives of the Strategic Communications Center (Stratkom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), Russian military criminals closely monitor information regarding any movements of Ukrainian military personnel. Therefore, citizens are urged to adhere to the current restrictions on holding mass events in areas where combat tasks are being carried out.

It is noted that mass events and solemn gatherings are likely to become targets for missile strikes or bombings.

“Do not ignore air alarm signals and maintain information silence”, as stated in the message from the Stratkom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
